By accessing and using Detail's platform ("Service"), you agree to these Design Partner Terms. These terms govern your participation in our Design Partner Program during the evaluation period.

1. Design partner program
Product Access: As a design partner, you receive early access to Detail, our AI engineer that identifies untested code paths and writes missing tests for complex codebases. Detail also executes safe transformations to improve codebase health and engineering efficiency.
Program Participation: You agree to provide feedback on the Service and participate in our development program to help us improve the product. We may use all feedback and insights freely to develop and enhance the Service for all users.
Customer Recognition: You may be included in private customer lists as part of the program.
2. Term and termination
Duration: These terms remain in effect for 6 months from your first access to the Service, unless terminated earlier.
Termination: Either party may terminate access for any reason with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service will end and you must return or destroy any confidential information.
3. Service availability and modifications
Service Availability: The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
Service Suspension: We may immediately suspend your access to the Service if you violate these terms, pose a security risk, or engage in prohibited activities.
No Service Level Agreement: The Service is provided without any service level agreement (SLA), uptime guarantees, or committed support response times. We provide support on a best-effort basis during the design partner period.
4. Ai service disclaimers
AI Limitations: The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze code and generate tests and transformations. You acknowledge that:
AI-generated outputs may contain errors, bugs, or suboptimal solutions
All AI suggestions should be reviewed and tested before implementation
We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or quality of AI-generated code
You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and implementing any AI recommendations
The Service may not identify all untested code paths or potential improvements
5. User responsibilities
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.
Authentication: You must use only authorized access methods and maintain appropriate security measures when accessing the Service.
6. Data and privacy
Data Retention: We will retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill our obligations under these terms. Upon termination, we will delete or return your data as requested, subject to legal retention requirements.
Data Processing: We will process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Code Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to your code uploaded to the Service. Any code, tests, or transformations generated by the Service on your behalf are owned by you. We claim no ownership rights to your code or any derivatives created for you by the Service.
7. Restrictions and acceptable use
You may not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code or underlying algorithms
Provide, sell, transfer, or allow others to access the Service
Remove proprietary notices or create derivative works
Conduct security tests or circumvent access restrictions
Use the Service to develop competing products
Upload content you don't have proper rights to use
8. Intellectual property
Service Ownership: We retain all rights to the Service, including any features developed from your feedback.
Feedback: We own all feedback you provide about the Service. By providing feedback, you assign all rights in that feedback to us.
9. Confidentiality
Protection: Both parties will protect confidential information using reasonable care standards and use it only for purposes related to the Design Partner Program.
Exclusions: Information that is publicly known, independently developed, or received from authorized third parties is not considered confidential.
10. Limitation of liability
Liability Cap: Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to $100. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Service Disclaimers: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Indemnification
Your Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
12. Compliance and legal requirements
Export Controls: You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations. You may not use the Service in countries subject to trade embargoes or provide access to restricted persons.
Legal Compliance: You must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
13. Force majeure
We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, network failures, or other unforeseeable events.
